Invention
Now I consider myself rather brilliant at times
(and other times ... I just don't know)
I have been working on a photo album for our youth pastor who is leaving for another church.
Finding photographs and putting them to page has been a rather fun endeavour.
While doing this work I thought that it would be nice to have a thin flat digital frame to show video footage in and be able to put it in the middle of the photo album.
Maybe this already has been invented or maybe someone is working feverishly on it.
If no one is...I thought of it first.
I thought it was a brilliant idea that I had come up with and then I recalled
that Harry Potter movies have been showing the very thing I was thinking about.

they are still miserable (said with a French accent)
I went to see Les Miserables with my Mom last week.
So many different adaptions are out there but I thought they did a really good job.
I think it is a great movie when you think that they should have just made the thing
four hours long to properly tell even more of the story.
Some of the scenes were strikingly poignant.
The prisoners pulling the ship in.
The factory workers.
Fantine singing and you could see the holes where her teeth were supposed to be.
Building the barricade.
Plucky Gavroche.
Hearing the klunk of Javert's leap into the void.
One of my favourite parts was seeing Colm Wilkinson play the part of the Bishop.
This story is and always will be an amazing testimony of God's power to change a life. Amen.

owl second that
I've always thought owls were such neat creatures.
It's the turning the heads thing.
And the nocturnalness of them so's that we don't get to see them too often.

don't be so shelf-ish
I have been working on cleaning up some of my basement
where I have a boat load of shelves.
But they don't look like these ones....

more statue molesting
My mother is at it again
A friendly frog
( and no comments on the white socks)
(I was travelling light)
An unfriendly alligator - or is it a crocodile?

Afsluitdij,
Holland
|
While vactioning in Holland we visited the 'Afsluitdij'. My husband went into great detail to explain the building of the dike. So, one thing lead to another and I patted his bum (the staute that is). |
Hello, is tat chew ?
A picture taken of me somewhere in the Netherlands. Molesting a statue.
My mom did the same thing to a statue when she was in "the old country".
Maybe I can find it one day and post it.
