Live long and prosper

Heard of the passing of Leonard Nimoy.

Mostly known for his amazing character Spock from the days of Star Trek

he was, all told, a gentleman.

The Star Trek universe was a commendable way for Gene Roddenbury 

to create a glimpse at the future.

I read one of his books

and appreciated his outlook and his humor.

Rest in peace.

He has legions of fans and  

I like what others, who knew him, are saying.

Throw back Thursday

This is throwing back pretty far.

We probably lived on Upper James at this point.

Wish my memory was better. 

Then again...maybe it is just fine to remember what I do.

Most of it is pretty ok with me.

Sean - wish I was there

Sean, formerly from GBS, is performing in Hamilton tonight

a small venue.

It would have been a joy to attend.

 He explained in a Spectator interview some of the reasons that the band is no longer together.

Ya gotta respect the guy for following his heart and walking away.

I wish for him only the very best.
