My favourite Robin Williams film was Dead Poets Society
Robin died this week.
I will remember him for....
His work on Comic Relief.
His friendship with Christopher Reeves.
His comedy
His accents
His energy
His frankness about his sobriety
His heart troubles
His conversation with Charlie Rose about gratefulness
His interviews were a treat of frenetic madness.
His humour could be harsh
but then again, so can life.
I think that people will learn more
about suicide and depression
by looking at his life
than many other places.
If someone who was dearly loved by many
could take his life
then mental illness is a thing
that we should be paying attention to.
