Actually I usually like Walmart. 

They took back the playpen I bought after I had deemed myself unable to learn how to open and close it with any type of proficiency.

They usually have what I am looking for.

They carry Keg Steak Spices - which make Martin's burgers extra yummy.

They price match.

I think they are non-union.

Maybe I'll go shopping....

a good picture or what?

I took this picture of the Toronto skyline as my plane was beginning the landing approach towards the Toronto airport. I love the way the CN Tower and the tall buildings seem to float in the sky. Really it was just a foggy day. The picture was of by a degree or two and I figure I could have corrected it but I like it the way it is.

family ties

We had a family picture taken on the occasion of the celebration of my father's achieving 80 years of life. It wasn't the actual date of his birthday but it is the day that we celebrated with a family dinner. So the people in the photograph are the offspring of my parents.
Getting all of us in the same room hasn't happened since 2009. The party lasted 3 days with the dinner on Saturday, church on Sunday and then dinner at our place that was catered by my sister (way yummy) then on Monday there was a tour at the Warplane Heritage Museum followed by a lunch. With out of towns guests whose company I really enjoy, we had a great time.

I love my sister. 

She is smart and thoughtful. 

She is a wife to Paul and a mom to Doug and Katie. 

She is a great nurse and a great cook.

I used to sleep in the same double bed as she did and 

I am happy that she was not a bedwetter. 

We are alot alike.
