kisses

this picture below reminds me of when my children were little
after spending the church service in the nursery
my children would have this red rash all over their face
I could never figure out what it was...

until one day when I realized that my mom had gotten to them first

tomorrow Ethan and Moriah come over for the day
I am looking forward to it

Great Big Sea

Andrew and I went to see Great Big Sea last night.

What a great concert the boys put on.
It was the third time that we have seen them.
And they did not disappoint.

 the band takes the stage

 Alan Doyle
Front man Alan has also done some acting.
He was in the Russell Crowe version of Robin Hood.
A movie I've yet to see.

 Sean McCann
For fellow fans of their music
the Scolding Wife song gets one of the lyrics
changed by Sean every time they sing it.
Last night the word was hammer.
We have also heard mermaid and pudding.

 Bob Hallett
Alan had once commented during a concert
that he pitied any band that didn't have Bob playing in it.
Sean added, "those poor Bobless bands"

It was their 20th anniversary tour so they played all the hits and then some.
It was two terrific sets of music.
We paid for two seats but did not use them during the show.
The crowd was on their feet for the ENTIRE concert.
Hamilton loves GBS and so do I.

slipped by

Well the rest of March has slipped by and we are well into April.

I have not been faithful in my blogging and when I do get on
I blog a picture I found somewhere that I found interesting for one reason or another.

Creative writing has eluded me for some time.
I actually should not say that because I have written some wonderful prose lately.
The problem is that I write it in my head
(usually when awake with insomnia and
trying very much to get asleep -
and I do not stop to write it down)

So whilst I await inspiration
I will continue with the perspiration
then with detection
and introspection
and reflection
I will again write....I await that day.
